Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro
4 days/3 nights
Day 1:
Morning: Depart from Arusha around 7:30 AM in a shared 4x4 safari vehicle. Drive approximately 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, known for its giant baobab trees, ancient termite mounds, and impressive herds of elephants.
Late Morning: Begin your game drive inside the park. Look out for lions, giraffes, buffaloes, ostriches, and a wide variety of bird species along the Tarangire River.
Lunch: Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park. Continue with game viewing before exiting the park and driving to Karatu, a town near the Ngorongoro highlands.
Evening: Check into your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight in Karatu.
Day 2:
Morning: After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a scenic drive and possibly spot wildlife along the way.
Lunch: Enter the Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate and have lunch at the picnic site. Begin your en-route game drive through the endless plains of the Serengeti. Look out for big cats, wildebeests, elephants, and other iconic African wildlife.
Evening: Arrive at your tented camp or lodge in central Serengeti for dinner and overnight stay under the stars.
Day 3:
Morning: Head out at dawn for a sunrise game drive - the best time to spot predators and herbivorous in action.
Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch in a safe, shaded area within the park or drive back to the lodge/ campsite for a hot lunch followed by a little rest before heading out for the afternoon game drive. Continue exploring new areas of the Serengeti, such as the Seronera River Valley, where wildlife sightings are abundant year-round.
Evening: Return to your accommodation for dinner and your second night in the Serengeti.
Day 4:
Morning: After an early breakfast, begin your journey back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a 600-meter-deep volcanic caldera filled with diverse habitats and an incredible density of wildlife, including the rare black rhino.
Lunch: Enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, followed by a picnic lunch near a hippo pool or under the acacia trees. Ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha with drop-off at your hotel or airport (if pre-arranged).
Evening: Expected arrival in Arusha around 6:30–7:00 PM.
Serengeti, Ngorongoro
3 days/2 nights
Day 1:
Morning: After early breakfast, you will join other travelers for the long pleasant journey that will take us to the Serengeti. On the way, we will be entertained by the sheer vastness, endless fauna and elegant landscape.
Lunch: We reach the Serengeti in the afternoon, have lunch, and do our game drive in the oldest and most popular national park, designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. It's a chance to seek some more great wildlife-spotting at the home of the great migration.
Evening: After the evening game drive you will return to your campsite/lodge for a well-deserved rest and delicious dinner.
Day 2:
Morning: Head out for a sunrise game drive when predators are mostactive. Witness the plains come to life with lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and vast herds of wildebeest and gazelles.
Midday: Return to your lodge or picnic site for lunch and some rest. Another exciting game drive through different areas of the park, exploring riverine habitats or following migration routes depending on the season.
Evening: Return to camp/lodge for dinner and your second night under the stars.
Day 3:
Morning: Depart Serengeti after breakfast and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, another UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a half-day game drive inside the crater, teeming with lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and more.
Lunch: Picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater floor.
Evening: Ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
Tarangire, Ngorongoro
2 days/1 night
Day 1:
Morning: Depart Arusha early morning in a shared 4x4 safari vehicle with your guide and fellow travelers. Enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Begin your game drive across the park’s diverse landscapes. Spot wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a wide range of bird species. Your guide will provide insight into the animal behavior and ecosystems.
Lunch: Enjoy a packed lunch at a picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River. Continue your game drive through different habitats before exiting the park.
Evening: Drive to your accommodation in Karatu. Enjoy dinner and an overnightstay at a lodge or camp.
Day 2:
Morning: After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim and descend 600 meters into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Enjoy a half-day game drive on the crater floor, a havenfor the Big Five including the rare black rhino. Observe a rich concentrationof wildlife including lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, flamingos at LakeMagadi, and hippos lounging in the pools.
Lunch: Picnic lunch at a designated site within the crater. Ascend from the crater and begin your return drive to Arusha.
Evening: Arrive in Arusha around 5:00–6:30PM.
Zanzibar, Serengeti, Ngorongoro
3 days/2 nights
Day 1:
Morning: A morning scheduled flight to Serengeti National Park (Seronera airstrip). Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Tanzania’s diverse landscapes, including the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Highlands. Arrive at Seronera airstrip where yoursafari guide will greet you. Beginyour first game drive eno your lodge, spotting lions, elephants,giraffes, zebras, and possibly cheetahs along the way. Check-in at your mid-range tented lodge incentral Serengeti and enjoy lunch.
Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunchs, then embark on a game drive through the vast Serengeti plains, home to the Great Migration, large predators, and a variety of birdlife.
Evening: Return to the lodgein time for sunset, followed by dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 2:
Morning: Start with a sunrise game drive when animals are most active. Look out for predators on the hunt, grazing herds, and stunning morning light over the savannah.
Lunch: Return to camp for lunch and rest, or continue with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive depending on group preference. Explore different Serengeti habitats, such as riverbanks, kopjes (rock outcrops), andacacia woodlands.
Evening: Returnto your lodge for dinner and a second overnight under the stars.
Day 3:
Morning: Depart early for a drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a picnic breakfast along the way. Arrive at the crater rim and descend 600 meters into this wildlife-rich caldera. Enjoy a half-day game drive on the crater floor, and spot rhinos, lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and more. Lunch: Picnic lunch inside the crater in a designated area.
Afternoon: Ascend from the crater and transfer to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Zanzibar.
